It is a great privilege to have a poem given such close and thoughtful reading: thank you. I am especially pleased that you chose 'Prefabs': I think the sounds and rhythms of the translated versions convey the mood of the poem really effectively. It was a pleasure to be in email contact with Julie concerning a particularly compressed phrase in the poem. Although not fluent myself, I find the similarities and differences between the three translations fascinating, and look forward to discussing them with German speaking friends.
